Raycom Media is greatly expanding its sales force, inside sales support team, digital experts and resources our clients want and need in the fast-changing media and digital sales landscape. This expansion creates fresh and exciting job opportunities in a variety of newly crafted sales positions: all designed to reward the individual and offer a variety of paths for professional growth within Raycom Media in the area of digital media sales.

 

Raycom has a specially tailored sales opportunity for a digital advertising account executive, known as a Digital Sales Consultant (DSC).

 

This financially rewarding commission sales opportunity allows the DSC to focus almost solely on selling advertising solutions

 

The DSC will be responsible for uncovering digital media opportunities with local and regional direct clients, as well as agencies. This individual will have all the tools necessary to offer tailored and thoughtful digital solutions to clients, while leveraging WBTV solutions and sponsorships. It will be their responsibility to be on top of digital media trends, present themselves as a digital leader in the marketplace, and be well versed on the impact digital marketing has on company business models. They will demonstrate an ability to think creatively, sell strategically, and communicate effectively while growing the scope and relationship of the client relationship.

  • Generate new relationships by prospecting, identifying, and educating local and regional businesses
  • Understanding client needs, and developing ideal custom solutions
  • Calling on inactive accounts and maintaining an awareness of new businesses openings and product cycles in the area
  • Delivering customized sales presentations in person, via phone or webinar
  • Be a driving force and digital leader by achieving quarterly and annual budgets
  • Teach, Tailor, and Take Control of your digital business

Candidate Requirements

  • Candidates must be enthusiastic, high energy, and goal driven
  • Ability to explain an idea thoroughly, with precision and continuity
  • 3+ years of sales experience / digital acumen
  • Familiar and competent with Google Analytics, DoubleClick, Microsoft Office
  • Past experience selling online display/verticals, video, social or SEM/SEO advertising a plus
  •  Candidate must successfully complete pre-employment drug screen.
