Job Overview

Job Description: KEYU-FM On Air Personality/DJ/Board Operator
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
*Plays music as specified by Program Director
*Operate Boards for radio remotes assigned by Program Director
*Writes and reads, or ad-libs segments to identify station, announce station breaks, 
* Check all commercial spots for accuracy
*Conducts, records, and edits interviews with musical guests or other famous/public personalities and commercial production duties.
*Answer phone lines and interviews members of the listening audience. In-person *attendance and hosting at remotes, nightclubs, and other promotional events, including charity events assigned by Program Director
*Maintains and builds a positive, cooperative attitude within the station and a strong personal community involvement.
*Follow and enforces FCC regulations, station and company policies, including implementing station’s/state’s EAS procedures
*Assist Program Director with other duties assigned as necessary
*Regular and timely attention to assigned shift
*Be able to work weekdays afternoon, nights, weekends/ and holidays 
* Adequately operate the technical equipment in the studio – Digital Boards, Audio Vault automation system, Vox Pro, Adobe Auditon
 
Experience/Skills/Qualifications include, but are not limited to:
*Fluency in Spanish and English required
*Comprehensive written and verbal skills in English and Spanish
*Able to provide documentation to work in the US
*1 year of on-air experience but not required, will train the right person   
*Ability to operate a computer, control and mixer boards, CD player, remote equipment, editing systems
*Valid driver’s license
Physical Demands:                  
While performing duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle, or feel objects; reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch.   The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
