    Producer/Storyteller Wanted!

    Are you passionate about writing, organizing and storytelling?  Do you love Hawaii culture, food, travel, and lifestyle?  Can you find amazing places and people in our area and create engaging stories on video?  If so, we want you to join our team.

    Hawaii News Now (CBS and NBC affiliated television stations), the dominant news organization and premier multimedia company is looking for a creative producer to join the HI Now team.  She/he will be responsible for producing multiple stories daily for TV, digital and social.  We are looking for people who have great organizational and writing skills, charisma, intelligence, great to work with, service driven, quick on their feet and highly motivated.  Background as a producer is preferred.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as a producer
    • Written introduction and writing samples are required
    • Ability to prioritize and address multiple project with varying production timelines
    • Must be energetic, positive and great to work with
    • Must be highly motivated self-starter, able to work well alone and as part of a team
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
