Experience in severe weather coverage is a must. We’re looking for a qualified meteorologist to take our morning weather coverage to the next level. You must have the education, forecasting ability, technology skills and personality to present a dynamic weathercast that our viewers can relate to.
The successful candidate will prepare our audience for the day ahead and the next big weather maker on all platforms including digital, social and broadcast. Expertise with WSI systems is a plus. Applicant must have superior social media skills. A well-rounded candidate with some experience reporting, shooting, and editing is ideal. A bachelor’s degree in meteorology or related field is required. At least two years television experience is also required.
