New Orleans' local media leader, WVUE/FOX 8 seeks candidates for an exciting new position.  The Senior Digital Sales Specialist is responsible for developing digital revenue by working with TV account executives and their clients.  Working in concert with members of the core sales staff, the Senior DSS confers with local, regional and national business to understand their digital marketing and advertising needs, creating custom tailored solutions that meet the client's goals, with on-going consultation regarding the performance of their campaigns, while adhering to all company policies, procedures and codes of business ethics.

Duties and responsibilities

 

The primary job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Audience Development, Audience Development and Brand Manager, or Creative Director to conceptualize and create content that will help expand our rapidly-growing broadcast and digital media presence.
  • Independently writes, shoots, edits, and produces promotional video and multiplatform advertising
  • Edits all own video needed for their work using our editing software on a desktop computer, including but not limited to Adobe Premier, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects and Avid.
  • Creates posts for social media and provides content for web at the request of a digital content producer or another manager, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube

Qualifications

WVUE - Success Manager

 

This position will be responsible for maximizing client relationships and services for specific accounts by serving as the primary point of contact for the client as the internal liaison between Media Sales Consultants Media Planners, Research Director and other resource personnel.  This position will report to the Local Sales Manager and is the key owner of the post-sale client experience and the key overseer of campaign implementation and performance.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the daily management of assigned accounts that meet specific criteria
  • Executes regular touch points with clients at campaign inception and throughout the lifetime of the client relationship
  • Identifies up-sell opportunities within an account's marketing strategy and passes them along to the Media Sales Consultant for presentation to the client.
  • Retains client base through exemplary service and positive ROI for the client
