WSFA 12 News in Montgomery, Alabama, is seeking a Marketing Producer. The marketing producer will be a self-starter with the ability to adapt to the project, whether it be broadcast or digital, news promotion or commercial client-driven. He/she should be a visual storyteller with strong skills in writing, cinematography, and editing. Working with the Brand Manager to conceptualize and create content that will help expand our rapidly-growing broadcast and digital media presence. The ideal candidate will work well with a creative team as well as a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
This role demands direct knowledge of all aspects of video production to independently create top-quality multiplatform advertising. Working with a team of producers and reporting to the Brand Manager, this Marketing Producer must efficiently produce a variety of creative assets for both WSFA 12 News and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively engage with WSFA 12 News’s social audience and to have an understanding of social media monitoring and management tools for publishing and reporting.
College degree in Marketing, Advertising, Film/Video or other related field preferred.
Must provide creative reel demonstrating advanced knowledge of video production, especially Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects and DSLR cinematography. Experience with Facebook/Instagram/Twitter, Google Analytics, Crowdtangle and Web CMS Frankly and/or Wordpress is a plus.

Description: Responsible for the preparation and processing of biweekly payroll for over 1000 employees in multiple states; review and ensure accuracy of approved timesheets; track and deduct all garnishments and other special payroll deductions. Responsible for the coordination efforts between payroll, human resources, and other departments to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data (including preparation/distribution of detailed reports, overtime, leave balances, head count). Handle the administration of the electronic timekeeping system. Setup each employee, and adherence to FLSA; monitor submissions of approved timesheets, ensure valid data transfers to/from payroll service. Establish/maintain payroll records; ensure that employee changes are entered correctly and made on a timely basis; review changes for proper authorization and adherence to policy including compliance with federal/state/local regulations.
Three plus years in a Payroll Office performing all payroll functions. Excellent skills using MS Word, Excel, Access, and Internet Explorer. Strong skills using and understanding the flow of transactions in an integrated and automated payroll accounting system. Knowledge of UltiPro a plus. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion. Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines.

WSFA 12 News, Raycom Media's NBC affiliate in Montgomery, Alabama is looking for a creative leader to build and grow its number one rated newscasts. The Executive Producer position helps oversee our news product across all dayparts as well as producing our 6:00pm newscast. You will be working at Raycom Media’s flagship station working in the home of Raycom Media’s headquarters.
Qualified candidates will have the ability to multi-task, work well under deadlines, change newscasts as needed, grow and develop a team and think beyond the news of the day. Preferred candidate will have executive producer or other newsroom management experience, but at least 4-5 years of line producing experience required. Must be a very strong writer familiar with ENPS, have the ability to help drive ideas across our digital platforms and multi-media content.
Digital integration is key inside newscasts. Must have the ability to coordinate and create graphics with knowledge of Chryon and LUCI. Non-linear editing experience preferred. Must be a team player with a great attitude and be available to work various schedules as needed. In addition, candidates must have strong communication skills; have solid news judgment; be organized, trustworthy, calm under pressure, have a full understanding of the latest technologies and have experience with breaking news & live shots.
Assisting in planning coverage for event is key as well as assisting the Assistant News Director and News Director. Applicant must have a degree in broadcast journalism or related field.
