This person will oversee the day-to-day on air execution and operations of our Content Department. Our Chief Photographer manages, evaluates and develops a team of photographers who can tell incredible stories through photojournalism. Knowledge and experience with television news photography, technical knowledge of ENG vehicles and editing is a must. Along with daily news gathering, the Chief Photographer is responsible for recruiting and training staff photographers and ensuring vehicle and equipment maintenance is being performed regularly. This position will also include overseeing equipment used by MMJ's and training MMJ's on how to properly the gear. This person will also be responsible for managing vehicle fleet maintenance for ENG and MMJ units.

KFDA-TV, NewsChannel 10 in Amarillo, Texas is hiring a full-time digital content producer to create and manage engaging content for our mobile app, dotcom, desktop, and social media platforms. Ideal candidates require a solid grasp of AP Style along with creative writing skills. Applicants should have the ability to properly attribute and edit their copy, as well as the copy of others, in a fast manner. Strong video editing skills are also a must.

KFDA - Maintenance Engineer
KFDA is seeking a full-time Maintenance Engineer. Qualified applicant will have experience in the design, installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of a wide variety of broadcast equipment. This includes microwave, satellite, video servers and broadcast digital equipment.
Candidate must exhibit an advanced knowledge of broadcast electronics, analog and digital technology, computers, LAN/WAN networks, station automation, digital UHF transmitters, related microwave and other RF equipment. Candidate should be familiar with SD/HD digital TV formats, ATSC encoders and be able to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the latest related technologies and FCC rules and regulations.
Hours and shifts will vary depending on the news events of the day, with weekend, night, on call and holiday work. Must be able to lift heavy equipment, work at heights. Must be able to use Microsoft products. The successful candidate must be able to think on their feet, work well with others, be a self-starter and a team player. Formal electronics/IT education or military electronics/IT training preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Set the pace as a digital seller among the sales team
- Ensures that the team consistently meets and/or exceeds revenue targets.
- Collaborates with local market leaders, to execute sales campaigns, strategic objectives and other goals.
- Develop relationships with clients and Account Executives
- Identify sales growth opportunities, as well as market challenges, and work to develop and implement innovative action plans.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the market and monitor competitive products, innovations and activities.
- Independent prospecting of digital opportunities that will drive new revenue streams and new customers.
- Develop and maintain a full funnel of prospects and properly track prospects through the funnel using internal tools
- Conduct professional meetings with Account Executives and clients.
- Professionally prepare and present custom proposals and solutions.
- Set expectations during pre-sale phase and manage post-sale to meet those expectations to ensure client satisfaction with an eye toward renewal and up-sell.
- Include ongoing digital media campaigns to support the digital presence.
- Work closely with the Account Management (sales support) team on the implementation and execution of digital campaigns
